Pictured above is my sister in law Ashley, Brian and their newborn Julia Adele. This is their first and my wife's first neice on her side of the family. She has been very excited ever since finding out Ashley was pregnant. Ashley lives in batons Rouge, so Chandra is going to take a week in a few weeks to go down and stay with them, when Brian goes back to work.
Julia came in at 7 lb. 6 oz and 20 1/4" yesterday afternoon.
I think babies are a true gift from God. They are truly miracles. God has entrusted us with these gifts and He gives us reign over them. We can never be as good to them as our Father can, but we need to try. We need to teach our children everything we can about the Lord. We have the promise of Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. This, of course is teaching them the Word and sharing with them the love of God.
